Under The Bridge at Hind Wheel

The Rivelin Walk is peppered with little nooks and crannies of a history dating back to the 1500s. The Rivelin used to be a place of forging metal and grinding flour. At Hind Wheel there is a bridge in which this lovely weir drops just before it. I fancied my chances at taking a picture from under the bridge for a long exposure. I am glad I caught the whirls to the left, exposure time 6 seconds at f11. Hind Wheel is the oldest mill recorded along the River Rivelin. Built by Robert Hind in 1587
