Wyming Brook in Flow

Wyming Brook in Flow

Landscape Photography

Wyming Brook Sheffield

A follow-up from my winter photographs, which looked more autumnal, Wyming Brook waking up to spring time. The slanting slab of rock adds a diagonal focal point bringing you down the water flowing over the rocks, framed by foliage and mossy boulders.

This nature reserve is a conduit between Redmires Reservoirs and the Rivelin Dams, just outside Sheffield in the Peak district.

A polariser was used as a filter to aid the long exposure. There was some surgery to the image. After thinking I carefully framed the shot, it was not until I got home and saw on the monitor that some cheeky blades of grass were in shot and were distracting. Thank you for the patch tool in CS6
