Edale
Landscape Photography
A view from the Pennine Way, looking at Mam Tor on the left and Rushup Edge on the right on the horizon, the cleft in the ridge is where the road that brings you down into Edale and Barber Booth. This hills / tors form part of the Edale skyline, and usually a good haunt for the para-gliders. you can see it was very hazy last Sunday; a magnificent 16’C, for an early spring day. Some dry weather is much-needed after the soggy winter rains.
Grinds brook meanders its way down through Edale, and is very open, not much tree line along this water way. Usually a line of trees when viewed on an aerial map indicates a river or stream.
Love the way the trees sort of bracket the hills Ange.
